This piece surprised me the same way only a few others ever did. When I started painting, I had entered this flow effect and I felt like I was unstoppable. The colour worked so well, blended so well but then I got stuck at the background. I liked the colour combination, but it felt empty. I left it for a while but then, when I began working on it again, I felt like all my previous worries were useless. This piece has pushed me to allow myself time to think and listen.
