"A new direction"

Archival, open edition print of my original painting "A new direction".

The original piece was the start of my journey exploring other subjects. Growing up I had been obsessed with animals in general. All and any.

I needed a break from what has beginning to feel a little monotonous, so I began to look for what inspired me. It happened to be birds first and then I found my way back to different species as well. This painting spurred me back towards my child self, allowing me a take a deep, cleansing breath from the ever-moving adult life.
