"The wait"

This piece aims to influence with its soft colours and careful transitions. The values of the only colour used are in themselves not too overpowering, the markings and the background perfectly balance the darker values. It is about a calm, controlled tranquility that usually comes with waiting. It is important to me, because it symbolises a powerful process. To wait patiently requires great strength.
