"Opossum"

18x24 cm, oil on canvas

This painting is part of a series of oil pantings that I started to better my skill and get more familiar with different species of animals. Each animal is chosen randomly (I write down each animal my followers suggest and throw them in a hat, picking blindly), and made through sweat and tears, since they are all a learning curve.

Since my followers helped me make these paintings, and my goal was to experience different textures and familiarise myself with different animals, these originals go for a much lower price, allowing a wider range of animal lovers to become collectors of original art.

Please allow 2 weeks for your painting to dry and be varnished before being shipped off to you! This may not apply to all original oil paintings.
